From hundreds of fantastic entries, our panel of book experts have shortlisted an amazing collection of 18 short stories as finalists in the Eason Creates Creative Writing Competition.

Our panel of book experts, including bestselling young adult author Louise O’Neill, will judge this shortlist and their scoring combined with the public vote will determine one overall winner each for the Junior cycle and Senior cycle categories.

The public vote will account for 50% of the total so we encourage you to read and enjoy these wonderful stories written by extremely talented secondary school pupils from all over the Republic of Ireland, and then vote for your favourite.
