Now in its 8th year, 2018 has been another brilliant year for The Eason Spelling Bee Competition. After travelling around all 32 counties of Ireland over the past 5 months it is sad to see the competition come to an end. It was fantastic to find an excellent champion in Charlotte. Our three talented runner’s up should be extremely proud of themselves as they too put up a worthy fight. They do not go home empty-handed; each runner up has won €3,000 worth of library books for their school and a €250 Eason Gift Card for themselves.
We would also like to give a massive thank you to everybody who helped along the way to make the competition a great success. It really has been an excellent year for the Spelling Bee.
We are now looking forward to the Eason Spelling Bee 2019 and hope to see you all back again next year.
